WIRE ROPES, MANILA ROPES & SNATCH BLOCKS

Renoko supplies 3 different types of Lifting Blocks to suite our customers requirements.:

Wire Rope Blocks is a system of two or more pulleys with a rope or cable threaded between them, usually used to lift or pull heavy loads. The pulleys are assembled together to form blocks and then blocks are paired so that one is fixed and one moves with the load. The rope is threaded, or wove, through the pulleys to provide mechanical advantage that amplifies the force applied to the rope.

We can supply the following Wire Rope Blocks:

  • Wire Rope Snatch Blocks

  • Wire Rope Reeving Blocks

  • Snatch Blocks available up to 40 ton capacity use with 38mm diameter steel wire rope.

  • Reeving Blocks available in excess of 100 ton capacity

  • Grease Nipples for positive lubrication

  • Available with forged steel hook, swivel oval eye, swivel safety shackle, or link and shackle.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Manila Pulley Blocks available in single, double and treble sheaves for use with 10mm – 24mm diameter natural and synthetic fibre ropes.

  • Gin blocks available in 200kg, 300kg and 400kg capacities

  • 1000 kg running out blocks with nylon sheave wheel.

MANILA ROPE BLOCKS

Snatch blocks are used to create a double line pull in a winching scenario. A double line pull doubles the working capacity of the winch during a vehicle recovery.

FEATURES & BENEFITS:

  • Max. Wire Rope Diameter: 10mm

  • Min. Break Strength: >14 000kg

  • Suitable for nylon, polyester, plasma and steel wire rope

  • Available in capacities up to 40 000kg

  • Fitted with vesconite bushed sheaves (Self-lubricating)
